Welcome to Investing in Cloud Stocks — a site run by individual investors trying to follow growth (and income!) stocks in the cloud computing, big data, analytics, and information technology sector. We started this site as a way of sharing information and ideas among a few friends, but now we’re happy to share what we find/think/see with all of you.

Here’s a partial list of cloud computing, and cloud-related company stocks to start our 2014 investment considerations. If cloud computing is the growth story that it looks like it could be over the next several years, then these companies are the likely candidates to be in the middle of that tech expansion, and/or consolidation. Some of these stocks can be used as trading vehicles (stocks or options strategies), or potentially held as long term investments. Some companies in this cloud computing space are established large or mega-cap corporations and others are unproven, small-cap (even micro-cap) companies that may not be able to exist on their own for many years – and maybe be ripe for acquisition. My preference is with companies that are somewhat diversified in and out of the cloud tech space. These are not recommendations, but for informational purposes only. As always, please do you own research, and consult your own advisors before committing any risk capital:
